Blogging, the slow way

A quiet place
to write.

7ino is a home for personal blogs. No feed, no likes, no follower counts, no algorithm deciding who sees what. Just a page with your name on it, kept online for as long as you keep writing, and long after.

Read the blogs

New blogs are paused while we upgrade the backend. Existing blogs are not affected.

Nothing to perform

There are no numbers under your posts. Nobody can like them, nobody can share them inside 7ino. People read them, or they don't. Most of our writers say that's the point.

An address that stays

Your blog lives at 7ino.com/yourname. We have never deleted a blog for being quiet. If you stop writing for three years, it's still there when you come back.

Looks like you

Every blog gets its own design. A typewriter journal, a postcard, a library card. Pick one, or describe what you want and we'll set it up with you.

Plain text, forever

Posts are stored as plain text files and published as simple pages. They load on old phones and slow connections, and you can export everything in one click.

How it works

  1. Pick a name. One word, lowercase. It becomes your address.
  2. Write. In the editor, by email, or from your phone. Posts go live with the time you saved them.
  3. That's it. There is no step three. We don't have growth tips.

One plan

No tiers, no "pro", no add-ons. One price for everyone, the same since 2014.

We would rather have a few thousand writers who stay for ten years than a million who leave after a week. Most of our blogs are older than the phones they were started on.

Questions

Why are new blogs paused?

We're moving everything to a new backend. Existing blogs stay online and unchanged during the upgrade. New sign-ups will reopen when it's finished.

Is there a feed or a timeline?

No. You can read a blog from its first post to its last, like a book, or start wherever you like.

Can people comment?

No. If someone wants to answer you, they'll find a way. They usually do.

What happens to my blog if I stop writing?

Nothing. It stays exactly where you left it.

Can I write in any language?

Yes. Many of our writers mix two or three.
