The orange signs went up on our street this morning. INTERDICTION DE STATIONNER, 19 h à 7 h, with a little tow truck drawn on them for people who don't read.

Around eleven a truck drives up the street with its siren on, to warn whoever didn't see the signs. Then the tow trucks come. They don't take your car far. They drop it a few streets over, and in the morning you call 311 and somebody tells you where it is. It's very civilised and everybody hates it.

Élodie took the car in December, so for once I'm only watching. A grader pushes all the snow into one long wall down the middle of the street, then the blower eats the wall and sprays it into a dump truck driving next to it. When one truck is full the next one pulls in. All night, beeping.

Best show in the city. I'm going to bed with the window open a crack. The app's going to love this.
