Something small.
I keep my notes about the book in a folder on my laptop. Text files, photos of pages, the chat exports. Tonight I sorted by date and three files show "modified" on Thursday afternoon. I was at the dentist Thursday afternoon. The laptop was here. Locked.
There are boring explanations. Sync. Indexing. Some update touching metadata. I write software, I know a dozen boring explanations.
I've decided not to scan Band II. Not to upload it anywhere. The book stays physical.
