a catalog from 1964
Two emails today.
The first one, from the big publisher: "Unfortunately we hold no archival records for titles of the former Akademie-Fachverlag." Polite nothing, as predicted.
The second one, from Tobias Keller, the son from the antiquariat. Subject line: gefunden (found). Attached, a scan of a stapled booklet: Verlagsverzeichnis Frühjahr 1964, the publisher's spring catalog. Page 14, under "Mathematik":
Tafeln gleichverteilter Zufallszahlen, Band II. Etwa 220 Seiten, Leinen, DM 4,80.
So it existed. At least it existed as a plan, with a price.

I printed the scan and put it inside Band I.
