haga
Saturday. Hedda took me on her Saturday route, which is: tram to Järntorget, walk up through Haga, buy a kanelbulle the size of your face at a café on Haga Nygata, eat it standing up, then climb the steps to the tower on the hill and look at the cranes in the harbour.
It rained the whole time. Sideways, from the sea. A man at the café door, completely soaked, said "det är bara lite duggregn" (it's only a bit of drizzle) and Hedda said that's the most Göteborg sentence there is.
The bun was very good. Pearl sugar everywhere, including my hair.
Server: fika is when you stop and have coffee and something sweet with someone. It's basically mandatory here. I'm adapting well.
