göteborg
Eight months later. Hi again, server.
I moved to Göteborg yesterday. Mamma drove me and two IKEA bags of clothes from Borås, which is 65 km, and cried a little at a red light on Linnégatan. She says that was the light's fault.
Tomorrow I start a one-year art course, the kind you do before you apply to a real art school. Mostly drawing and painting. Jun says I have to blog about it in English so everyone can follow, so here we are.
I'm subletting a room in Majorna from Hedda. She's 24, an assistant nurse, works nights some weeks, and has a sourdough starter called Gunnar that I'm apparently responsible for when she's away. My window looks onto a courtyard with exactly one birch tree.
The best thing in the flat is the hall mirror. It's huge, taller than me, with a gold frame, and in the bottom left corner the silver on the back has come off in a grey patch shaped like a cloud. Hedda says it came with the flat because nobody has ever managed to get it down the stairs.
I think I'm going to like it here.
