Some things, before I lose track of them too.
Kjell. Tonight I asked him if he'd ever come up and knocked before today, any day. He looked at me as if I were simple. "No. My knee." Then: "Today is a day you climb."
Ragnhild, by text: "NOW YOU HAVE SEEN IT. TEN DAYS. FINISH MY BOOK."
Torill. I asked her for the surname of the Polish student. She wrote back: "Piotr? I thought he was called Marek. Or that was the Bodø flat. Sorry!! Is everything OK with the flat?"
Sigrun, who was at Kjell's for dinner, came up to say she'd heard I'd been "a bit lost." She brought me a lasagne in a tin. I didn't ask her anything.
Mum, who says come home. I will, on the first, as planned.
Piotr. I looked. There are a lot of Polish researchers called Piotr who work on ice. Some of them were in Tromsø at some point. I didn't write to any of them.
