twenty-four
Twenty-four days. Or twenty-three, depending on whether Friday is over. I'm counting Friday as not over.
My log and the chart agree every day. 11:46 today. I've stopped being frightened at the moment it happens, which is odd. It's the rest of the day that's bad, and the night.
Three hours of sleep, I think. It's hard to tell, the window's the same at every hour. I've started going to bed at eleven and getting up at two to work, because at least then the pages get done. Page 388. The grandmother is dying, slowly, over sixty pages, which suits me.
Things I've thought about:
- Leaving early. Fran would be fine with it. Ragnhild wouldn't.
- What Piotr is doing now. Whether he sleeps.
- Who wrote on the chart in the 21/1 row, and why only a circle.
- Buying a proper lamp.
Ragnhild has written to say she wants to meet. "Thursday. Bring the semicolons."
